Optimized for Dental Applications

Reduce part costs significantly with advanced features like preform printing, multiplate capability, hybrid manufacturing, and seamless integration into digital workflows.

Compact Design for Seamless Integration

Designed to fit through standard doors and into tight spaces, the TruPrint 1000 is perfect for dental labs, research facilities, and university settings, offering high performance in a compact footprint.

Fullfield multilaser

Boost your productivity with the multilaser option: Two 200 W TRUMPF fiber lasers (1,070 nm wavelength) simultaneously scan the entire build volume with full overlap. This increases part output by up to 80% in the same time, offering faster delivery and greater flexibility for customer orders.

Multiplate option

Manage demand spikes and extend runtime without operator intervention. The build cylinder holds up to four substrate plates, enabling automatic changes without stopping the LMF process. Software automates support between jobs, while completed builds collect in an overflow bin.

Motorized optics

Easily switch between 55 and 80 µm beam diameters in the powder bed to prioritize surface quality or productivity. This adjustable beam size optimizes different applications and enables efficient processing of materials requiring higher energy density, like highly reflective metals.

Cylinder replacement

Cylinder changes are as simple as using an espresso machine. Interchangeable build and supply cylinders increase productivity and reduce setup time. Jobs restart quickly after material changes, and the supply cylinder can be filled during production. A smaller build volume saves on costly materials.

Powder handling

Ergonomic, contactless powder handling comes in a compact design. A closed powder circuit under shielding gas uses a glove box and interchangeable cylinders with a separate sieving station. Powder is sieved, reprocessed, and stored under inert conditions.

Preform option

Produce single abutments quickly and accurately while cutting costs by printing only the patient-specific portion. One preform can hold up to 64 abutments, which are easy to remove. Automatic preform detection supports industrial-scale dental production.

Monitoring component quality

An integrated camera and automatic image processing let you monitor the powder bed in real time. You get a clear, layer-by-layer view of the component’s condition and quality. The system also detects coating issues and protruding parts in the powder bed.

Setup wizard

The TruPrint setup wizard makes machine operation simple and user-friendly. Accessed directly through the HMI, it guides the operator step by step through the setup process, such as creating layer zero, ensuring efficient and error-free preparation for printing.

Job preparation

TruTops Print ensures optimal build preparation with minimal supports. The TruPrint 1000 software quickly calculates jobs, supports downskins under 10°, and offers synchronized cobalt-chrome parameters for fast production. Standard dental programs simplify design.

Applications

Options

Full-Field Multilaser System

Increase productivity up to 80% with two 200 W TRUMPF fiber lasers (55 or 80 µm beam) simultaneously scanning the build area. This creates more parts in the same time with full overlap, eliminating seam marks by exposing every contour completely.

Motorized Optics Control

Switch easily between 55 and 80 µm beam diameters to balance surface finish and build speed. Optimize for high-quality surfaces or faster builds, including materials needing higher energy density like reflective metals.

Inert Powder Cycle System

Ensure safe, professional powder handling even in small formats. Connect to external sieving or prep stations via standard interfaces, minimize powder contact, and process reactive materials like titanium by controlling oxygen below 100 ppm.

Multiplate Automation

Manage demand spikes and extend runtime without operator input. The build cylinder holds up to four substrate plates, which swap automatically without stopping the process. Finished builds are collected in an overflow bin for continuous work.

Preform Production Option

Quickly produce precise single abutments with reduced costs by printing only patient-specific sections. Up to 64 abutments fit per preform and are easy to remove. Automated detection aids dental additive manufacturing industrialization.

Powder Bed Monitoring

Continuously monitor the powder bed using an integrated camera and automatic image processing in the component chamber, providing real-time, layer-by-layer quality analysis for consistent part production.

Calibration Tools

Select from calibration options like laser power calibration for multilasers, focus position measurement, and scan field calibration, allowing easy recalibration and documentation of measurement results.

Digital Integration & Connectivity

Seamlessly integrate TRUMPF machines into your software environment. Whether with Oseon, monitoring tools, or third-party systems, OPC UA-based interfaces offer flexible digital connectivity for smart workflows.
