Overview

There is a clear market demand for CAM software that prioritizes ease of use and is offered as a fixed bundle with milling machines. In response, FOLLOW-ME! Technology has introduced two new solutions with the release of hyperDENT® version 10.

hyperDENT® Express is designed with simplicity in mind, ideal for users who want a streamlined, hassle-free experience. It’s perfect for those who prefer fast, straightforward operation without the need to dive deep into software configurations.

hyperDENT®, on the other hand, offers maximum flexibility for users who want to customize and control their CAM workflows. It replaces the long-standing hyperDENT® Classic, which is being retired after 15 years, and also supersedes hyperDENT® Compact (New), which evolved into a full-featured CAM solution during the version 9 series.

With these two products, FOLLOW-ME! continues to meet the diverse needs of the dental market—offering both user-friendly simplicity and advanced configurability.

hyperDENT® Express

hyperDENT® version 10 also introduces hyperDENT® Express, a streamlined alternative to the standard hyperDENT® software. Designed with simplicity in mind, hyperDENT® Express features a highly automated and user-friendly workflow that requires no in-depth CAM knowledge. It’s ideal for users who want efficient, reliable results without needing to master complex software.

A fully guided wizard walks users through all essential steps, while carefully preconfigured processes ensure that high-precision restorations can be created quickly and easily. Even more complex cases, such as single-unit restorations using preforms or composite ceramic blocks, can be handled smoothly and accurately.

Looking ahead, innovations introduced in the full hyperDENT® version will continue to be integrated into hyperDENT® Express, ensuring both versions benefit from ongoing technical advancements and development.

The new hyperDENT® is designed for use in both dental labs and high-volume production environments such as manufacturing centers. Its redesigned user interface provides advanced users with immediate access to the full range of features, while also allowing less experienced users to prioritize essential daily functions for a faster, more intuitive workflow. Advanced features remain easily accessible in a secondary layer for added flexibility.

With preconfigured databases and customizable templates, hyperDENT® enables fast, accurate, and efficient production. Its modular structure supports a wide variety of indications, from traditional milling processes to data preparation for additive manufacturing via the SLM process.

Additionally, hyperDENT® can be enhanced with the Hybrid Module, allowing users to process laser-sintered restorations directly on a milling machine—offering even greater versatility and integration across workflows.

Highlights

C-Clamp Integration

An enhanced display for open holders from various machine manufacturers has been introduced. Users now benefit from revised milling cycles, automatic undercut detection, and automated template assignment when selecting open holders, streamlining the setup process.

Simplified wizard

A more intuitive, guided workflow has been implemented with a simplified task display—highlighting key steps such as margin lines and undercuts. Updated icons offer clearer visual cues for each function, making the user experience more efficient.

Blank-Filter

Blank suggestions are now displayed more clearly, with significantly improved material filter visualization. The workflow is further simplified with automatic filtering based on predefined material information from CAD systems. Additional blank databases are also available for flexibility.

Snap on Attachments

The strategy for machining undercut areas using T-slot or lollipop cutters has been further refined. Ideal for components like Locator®, Dalbo®, and similar attachment systems, these improvements reduce roughing time by up to 20%, significantly increasing efficiency.

Due to the single part workflow, the hyperDENT parts inque (automatic loading/display of objects from the CAD folder) is not available.Users can enable or disable the hyperDENT parts inque feature in general settings.
Loading a CAD file with metadata automatically initiates blank management (blank proposal) to streamline the workflow.When loading a CAD file with metadata, users can choose in settings whether to proceed to blank management or perform a CAD file consistency check.

hyperDENT® Implant Components are the ideal hardware counterparts to the hyperDENT® Implant Module. Designed for ease of use, the scanbodies are compatible with all major lab scanners and support highly precise, industrial-grade manufacturing—whether milling or hybrid workflows—within extremely tight tolerances.

Their optimized design ensures accurate implant position recognition and precise alignment, making them especially well-suited for scanning implant bridges.
